  • It’s the second match for both teams in this tournament.
  • La Albirroja had a strong debut win.

Colombia and Paraguay return to action in the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™, meeting this Saturday, July 19, in a Group B clash that could define the second place in the standings. Both teams are chasing leaders Brazil.

The current runners-up were the last to debut in this edition, drawing 0-0 against Venezuela on Wednesday, July 16. Paraguay, on the other hand, made a great start by beating Bolivia 4-0, with three goals from young striker Claudia Martínez, who’s already one of the top scorers of the tournament. Both sides have already had their rest round in the group stage.

The current Group B standings show Brazil at the top (6 points), followed by Paraguay (3), Colombia and Venezuela (1), and Bolivia with no points. That makes this match a crucial one for both teams at the Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda Stadium.
